Review: A drama, a comedy, a message —- a must watch. This movie brought out the very philosophy needed for todays materialistic mechanistic world. I loved the movie and the crux of it. I think it is a must watch for every person. The movie is about Adam sandler who gets a Universal remote by which he can control his life. How he uses it and realizes ultimately that life is all about experiencing it and not just gaining  success or owning something is the storyline.

Cast: Cheran, Sneha, Jayaram, Murugesan

Direction: Karu Pazhaniappan

Review: A beautiful movie. The crux of the movie is about a newly wed couple who after being with a joint family are transferred to a hill station. Sneha’s loneliness has been brought out excellently. The story and screenplay without any regular commercial masala is the winner in the movie. A must watch for the intellectual.

Cast: ill Smith, Charlize Theron, Jason Bateman, Jae Head, Thomas Lennon

Direction: Peter Berg

Review: There are heros, there are super heros and then there is Hancock. The movie revolves around Will Smith who is endowed with supernatural powers. Since he is so different from the others, loneliness grabs him. The public has also fallen out of favor. He has a public relations officer who is trying to repair his image. Hancock then enters into a questionable relationship with the PR’s wife. Nice offbeat movie to watch.

Three girls expelled from college take refuge in a house where the lady does Tantrik practices. Then they move to a jungle guesthouse where they encounter Mamootty, the National geographic photographer. The movie carries a suspense and you are glued till you discover the same.

Cast: Jeyam Ravi, Kangana Ranaut, Jayram, Lakshmi Rai

Direction: Jeeva

Music: Harris Jayaraj

Review: The movie is the story of Ravi who is enagaged to a girl and then leaves for Russia. There he gets involved in a murder. How he escapes from the Russian cops and investigates the murder and finds the culprit forms the crux of the movie. The songs are excellent and the visualizations commendable. A watchable movie.

Cast: Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Rishi Kapoor, Akshat Chopra

Direction: Kunal Kohli

Review: A fun movie to watch, what draws me to the movie is the children and the angel to the rescue. Saif has done his part well too. The story is about a rich Saif being forced the custody of 4 children who he is responsible for orphaning. God sends Rani the angel to ensure that the bond develops between the children and Saif. Rani’s character is a chattery but witty one. In short the movie is nice because of the characters in the movie.

Cast: Narain, Mommootty, Meera Jasmine, Ramya Krishnan

Direction: Shyamprasad

Review: This movie is different from the many movies we see. It looks at the turbulance and the complexities arising out of a relationship. The movie is gripping due to the various emotions that the characters go through while you try to judge what should be the best end to the story. In all a gripping movie.

How he and the city are saved form the story.
